A Happier & Healthier Dog is raw fed

Always there to greet you when you come home with tail wagging and wet kisses, your dog is loyal with his unconditional love, companionship, and joy. In return, he deserves the best dog food you can serve. Raw diets featuring fresh, natural ingredients are unequivocally the best nutritional choice. Even the most expensive premium kibble and canned diets, after putting their ingredients through high heat and high pressure packaging, cannot measure up. with bones ground in and calcium, marrow, and body organs: Raw dog food is the best choice.  Fine ground with apporx. 5 % bone and no organs.

Why Raw Diets are Best for Your Dog

Raw diets offer a whole host of advantages from a dramatic improvement in your dogs physical health to a decrease in vet bills. Here are just a few of the many benefits of feeding your dog a balanced raw diet

1. A healthier body

Dogs glow with good health after switching to a well-balanced raw diet. They have a shiny coat and healthy skin, a firm body and appropriate weight, cleaner teeth and fresher breath, and even a decrease in health conditions (such as allergies, arthritis, or diabetes).

2. Improved well-being

Sluggish dogs get an injection of energy after eating a balanced raw diet. Dogs also tend to be happier and better-behaved when fed raw food  rather than gulping kibble, they can savor their meals and gnaw happily on bones. Not much beats seeing a healthy, happy dog dart around the yard.

3. A decrease in your pet budget

Depending on your current situation, your dogs enhanced health may actually be easier on your pocketbook: Think lower vet bills, fewer supplements purchased, and no more impulse buys at the pet store while picking up kibble.

4. Smaller stools with less odor

Anyone on poop-scooping duty knows what a mess dogs can make in a yard. A balanced raw diet means a dog produces smaller stools that donnot smell as strong.

5. Convenience

Raw diet = easy diet. If you choose a home delivery service, all the food you need is delivered to your door like clockwork, on a schedule you choose. Thaw it, serve it, wash the bowl, and repeat.

6. A longer life

Many Pet owners have seen longevity over the straight kibble fed dog.  Raw takes them back to the basics that their system was meant for.

Frequently asked Questions

How much raw should I feed:

Adult dogs can be fed between 2-3% of the their body weight. We recommend starting with 1/2 pound of food per 25 lbs of body weight daily and make adjustments according to your dog's age and activity. We also suggest that the daily ration be split to feed morning and night.

What is the BARF diet for dogs

An acronym used by some companies which,  means Biologically Appropriate Raw Food. It's about feeding pets responsibly and properly to maximize health, longevity and reduce allergies and vet bills.

Can I feed my dog Kidneys, liver, and other organs?  (we do not use meat or organs from the head or neck.  We use meat and organs strictly from the body of wild game)

It's a fantastic food for your dog! Not unlike liver, kidney supplies good quality protein, essential fatty acids and many vitamins including all the fat soluble vitamins A, D, E and K. Kidneys are a rich source of iron and all the B vitamins. They also have good levels of zinc.

Liver is a favorite food for dogs. Many of the treats and prepared foods you give them contain liver. ... Toxic dose: If your dog eats raw liver or consumes three servings of cooked liver a week, they could be headed for bone problems. Never feed your dog liver if they are also on vitamin A supplements.  With this food their is such a small amount that unless you feed extra, from another source, you will have no issues with supplements such as Vitamin A or Joint treats.  Raw diets are owners choice and Giddypet cannot be responsible for any adverse affects as you are responsible for properly preparing the diet and feeding the proper amounts.

Great quality
Fast shipping. Still completely rock hard frozen when it arrives. My dog sits at my feet now while I am preparing his meal. He has never done that before and was never really interested in food until I started feeding him this Venison. Great quality. Good price. I recommend.
